Delete a shared crossword

Unfortunately there isn’t currently a way to delete a crossword puzzle that you’ve already shared. Since the Share EclipseCrossword service is anonymous, we don’t have a way of knowing that it was you who uploaded it.

What to do if you accidentally upload a puzzle

If you upload a puzzle by mistake, usually you can just leave it. It’s very unlikely that anyone would ever come across it by accident: they can only find it by guessing the link, which is about a 1-in-4-billion chance, not by searching.

If you’ve accidentally shared a puzzle that doesn’t belong to you or contains sensitive information or otherwise really shouldn’t be on the internet:

1. Contact us as soon as possible, explaining what happened and including a link to the puzzle you want removed.
2. Don’t share the link with anyone else.
